It is definitely the best sounding amplifier I have. The new one I got is a much simpler (and cheaper) 300B/2A3 amp putting out about 8-watts of power. I bought a pair six or so years back, and have been really happy with it. You're still using the Cary? You might consider some 7308s in place of the 6922s. They'll give you a little more bass, but it won't be overly defined. Curious -- what speakers are you using? Good choice on the RCA tube.
